Game Asset Texturing Advice

So for university we have to create a game, and for this game i decided to build a bunch of modular set pieces for a dungeon to aid in building the levels. However when it comes to texturing I am god awful and it occurred to me is there a specific way to texture these assets. What I mean is that if these pieces need to fit together relatively seamlessly do i need to make sure the UV’s represent the scale of the piece? For example I have a short piece of corridor and a long one, would i need to make sure that the UV’s represent the different sizes of these two pieces? Pirate Bay PutLocker
